Jacquetta M. Lannan practices in the following Employment Law areas: Employer Representation Ms. Lannan is a graduate of Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts, and Santa Clara University School of Law. She served as an Articles Editor on the Santa Clara Law Review and a Representative on the Faculty Appointments Committee. Ms. Lannan brings a strong background in Wage and Hour law to the firm's existing employment practice. In addition, Ms. Lannan represents clients in the areas of sexual harassment, discrimination, and personal injury in both state court and at various administrative agencies including the Labor Commissioner and Unemployment Insurances Appeals Board. Ms. Lannan's article, Saving 17200: An Analysis of Proposition 64 was published in the Santa Clara Law Review in the Spring of 2006. Also, she co-authored Serial Murder in Healthcare Providers in the Journal of Forensic Science published in November 2006. She is currently drafting an article on telecommuting as a reasonable accommodation in employment disability discrimination cases. Ms. Lannan is the President of the Smith College Club of the Peninsula, the Treasurer of the Santa Clara County Trial Lawyers Association, and a member of the Advisory Board of the Alexander Community Law Center. Ms. Lannan continues to volunteer as a supervising attorney at the South Bay Workers' Rights clinic where she developed her passion for employee rights. She has a firm commitment to her client's cases and is a formidable advocate. In her free time, Ms. Lannan can be found collecting local art, hiking and camping. She also enjoys knitting blankets, gourmet cooking, and attending the opera.
